Myles was a huge fan of this local band which formed in early 2005. They released their debut EP “The Heist Begins Here” in 2007 which received widespread acclaim from reviewers and fans alike.

“Slick, Professional and tight, they sound like contenders” KKK – Kerrang!

It was in 2008 that their drummer departed, and Myles was given the opportunity to pick up his drum sticks for the first time in 2 years.

“Although Myles does not appear on this EP, it is safe to say that if you like what you hear, then you will love how the songs sound now! He has brought some refreshing new energy to the band.” - Huw Roch (Guitarist)

The single ‘Ghost’ was recorded back in 2008/09, but due to a break the band has taken since, will be released in the new year (2011).

Whilst studying psychology at the University of Hertfordshire, Myles was approached by some fellow students who had formed a band the previous year. Having always wanted the chance to try out his metal shouting ‘skills’, Myles auditioned and successfully joined the band as their second vocalist. With material already written, he only contributed some lyrics to the opening track ‘God Gave Me Madness’ and guitar/drum riff suggestions to ‘Rock Paper Scissors’.

Appearing in tracks 1, 2 & 4, see if you can spot which vocals are his! Due to the other members being in the year above, it was only after 1 1/2 years that distance and work commitments got in the way, and this University project came to an end. In 2008 attempts were made to revitalize Doppelganger, but there were musical differences and commitment issues which arose. Further more Myles decided he wanted to apply his vocals to more serious projects in future.

Myles Dyer & NSG - Horizons Expanding [2009]

Myles has always wanted to work on quirky music, which acts as a vehicle to express his positive messages about how we can all make a difference. Meeting with his friend NSG in early 2009, they set themselves the task of writing a track in just six hours which contained their different musical influences. ‘Horizons Expanding’ is the result of this experiment...

Myles Dyer - Time Can Be A Healer

At the end of 2008, Myles took professional help after dealing with depression due to many issues building up in his life. One of the first people he told his problems to, was his good friend NSG at the beginning of 2009, who was a music producer. Both him and Myles agreed that taking lyrics written during these tough times, and putting them to music would be a good form of release. And within just 40minutes, a piece of paper full of pen marks became ‘Time can be a healer’.

Myles had never sung in his life, and knew that this music would be a good reflection of that. But it is the heart and soul that shines through all the flat notes, which probably explains why so many people still want to download this track today.
